Eager for the Piano Lab In-Studio Experience?

At a Jam Session, up to 10 students of various ages and levels will meet 2 teachers and be divided into 2 classrooms for instruction, games and making music together.

The primary goal of these events is to give NEW families an experience of our studio and to supplement online classes for our ENROLLED students who are eager for in-person support.

***There are limited spaces so we request that you only claim a spot if you are 100% able to attend***

Summer Safety Protocols (Subject to Change)

1.Masks – Masks will be a requirement for all students. Teachers will wear face shields.

2.Capacity – We will limit the studio to 10 students (divided between both classrooms) for our Summer Jam Sessions but will operate at full capacity in September. (Up to 8 students and 1 teacher per classroom).

Parents will drop students at the bottom of the stairs where teachers will meet and guide them.

3.Hand Washing – Students will use hand sanitizer at the studio entrance.

4.Cleaning and Sanitizing Equipment – Pianos and high touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized between every session.

Games will absolutely continue but will be limited to activities that allow students to remain in their personal space and avoid shared objects.

5.Student Wellness Checks– We are still researching this and want to select a policy that is prudent while avoiding an unnecessarily stressful situation for parents/students. The possibilities range from strong reminders to parents to check students temperature and keep them home if they show any signs of illness to onsite temperature checks using a no-touch scanner.

6.Teacher Wellness Checks – there will be mandatory temperature checks and wellness screenings for teachers. If a teacher cannot lead class in the studio, the session may have to be cancelled or moved online so we will ask that parents stay alert to daily email announcements.
