Piano Lab

So, another question I get a lot is why group lessons? Well, not to be koi, why wouldn’t we do group lessons? I mean, there was a time when you could only have one piano in a room. And so, the learning the piano was a journey that was relatively solitary, not a lot of feedback until you were working through your nerves to perform for a bunch of people. Uh now we can make it collaborative and it can be about team building. It can be social. You can get constant feedback for your hard work and also sometimes some peer accountability where you notice, huh, I want to be able to do what they do. uh playing games, doing um group compositions. It is such a rich way to stay engaged over the long period that it takes to achieve fluency. I’m not going to tell you that you’re going to learn music in a minute, but you can find an approach like ours where staying engaged over the years is more manageable and then you really do cross that finish line where you have fluency and you can take that into the rest of your life. And that’s what we want for the kids. And that’s why we do group lessons. So, I hope that you’ll book a call with me and we can talk about the program a bit more and talk about what your goals are for your family and hopefully get you in here to try it out.
